    Default [SOLVED] Split Domain missing SPAM-X headers

    I have implemented a split domain as per Case 1

    Local mail (accounts on the primary server) do get these headers added by Zimbra:

    X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at forxxxxxxx.com
    X-Spam-Flag: NO
    X-Spam-Score: -2.571
    X-Spam-Level:
    X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.571 tagged_above=-10 required=6.6
    tests=[AWL=0.028, BAYES_00=-2.599] autolearn=ham
    Emails redirected to accounts on the remote Exchange server (secondary server) do not get the X-Spam headers but do get:

    X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at forxxxxx.com
    Searching the forum I found this old post from 2007 which describes this situation but has no resolution.

    How can I have Zimbra add the X-SPAM headers to emails bound for the secondary server?

    Please help. Thanks.

    What do you have for trusted_networks in /opt/zimbra/conf/salocal.cf ? Does it include the IP of the Exchange server ?

    Thanks for your reply. The answer to your question is no, so, I added the exchange server's and another Sendmail server's IP addresses to the trusted MTA servers in the Zimbra Admin web interface.

    It was then that it struck me that the old Sendmail server and it's old version of Spamassasin were stripping out my X-Spam flags and replacing them with it's own version of X-Spam flags. It was when I was looking at the salocal.cf settings that this came to me.

    So in the end it's not that Zimbra was not adding the headers it was the downstream server that was taking them out!

    Sorry for the confusion...but I'm glad it's 'fixed'!

    Okay, what to beat my head against next...
