Default Good way to back up configurations?

It's obvious and trivial to back up user accounts, but is there an easy way to back up Zimbra's configurations? That is, things like themes, external LDAP configuration, etc? Some of it seems to be stored in XML files, some in LDAP. There doesn't seem to be a centralized way to back this stuff up...or is there and I'm just not aware of it? We're using 6.0.5_GA_2214 network on RHEL4 currently, btw.

the command zmslapcat will dump the ldap db.

edit: er just realized that you're running network edition. the backup system included within zimbra network edition backs up user accounts as well as config.

When we restored from a full backup, it only restored the accounts. It didn't restore the skins, nor the LDAP configuration, or anything like that. Did I restore it incorrectly?

So if I take a bare installed Zimbra server and do a restore from a full backup, will it restore the skins as well, or is it supposed to?

So is there a list of things that the backups "leave out" that need to be re-done?

Offcourse skins are also backed up for a user. The backup for skin is done in ldap.xml file as "zimbraPrefSkin" , only if user has different skin that is set in COS, else only COSID is backed up.

Well I know the preference for which skin is backed up, but we have several custom-made skins (logos, colors, etc) that it would have been nice to have gone with the general full backups. As it is now, these have to be manually copied back into the appropriate Jetty folders, and Zimbra restarted. If it were packed into the full backup it would be much more convenient.
