Default [SOLVED] Persisting ZWC interface settings across logins

    Hi,

I'm trying to find out if changes the user makes to the Zimbra web client interface such as resizing the various panels, having certain folders expanded by default in the tree view, and keeping the "Request Read Receipt" option in the Compose screen selected, can be persisted across login sessions. As it is now, most changes the user makes to the interface are reset when they log back in in the mornings and they're a bit annoyed by that.

    Thanks for your help.

there is a very popular rfe that has been around for a while about this

Bug 1920 – Persist folder tree expand/collapse state across sessions

Thanks for the link, I added my vote to it. Also found the rfe for setting 'request read receipt' as default:

Bug 39386: read receipts default behavior per COS

Basic settings that I wish had been already implemented by version 6 of Zimbra. Would have saved me from some unnecessary aggravation from end users not happy with the switchover from Outlook.

As for persisting the panels layout/sizing, I hope Zimbra Desktop will take care of that issue, and perhaps these others as well -- though I have yet to test it.
