    Default IMAP mails size limit

    Hi,

We have to move mails from a mailbox to other one with Thunderbird but it seems to be a limit for mail size to 10000 Kb and some mails are 13000Kb size, how to change this limit.

We have changed the global mails size to 20000 Kb but this seems don't affect the IMAP mail size.

    Thanks for your help.

    I changed this value

But what about the upload file size with IMAP ?

    You could try the following
    Code:
    su - zimbra
    zmlocalconfig -e imap_max_request_size=15360000
as you may be hitting Bug 43615 - Accessing some folders gives "maximum request size exceeded".

I changed the imap_max_request_size with the new value 15360000 but nothing change, only mail less than 10Mb can be moved with IMAP.

I don't know if it's due to this bug ?

I set imap_max_request_size = 20000000 but when I try to import with imapsync I got a message " Error trying to append: 206 NO maximum message size exceeded" with mail 11Mb size" !

Other thing how to get the list keys (cf. imap_max_request_size) to use with the zmlocalconfig command ? - I don't find with a search in the Admin Guide 6.0.

    Thanks again for your help.

... just an idea: did you an

    Code:
    zmmailboxdctl restart
to make sure all the changes made are being applied to the running system.
