That's very bad news.. I have a customer upgrade pending on this.. It's ridiculous they have called dnd "Coolest thing ever!!!" and now it's indefinitely broken.. I'll try it later on a server upgrade..

Thanks for the quick reply bdial, I do have com_zimbra_dndext deployed (I actually just deployed it after your response), but still no luck. When I drag an image to the briefcase it opens the picture and navigates away from the page. I have not restarted the the zimbra services after the deployment. Does this need to be done? I also have com_zimbra_dnd deployed, does this need to be removed? Thanks again.

i think you can have both zimlets deployed. sometimes zimlets can be a bit wonky after you just deploy tyem. i think there is a zmprov flushcache zimlets command, but if you can restarting all of zimbra is a sure fire way. also maybe clear your cache in ff.

I'm actually in the process of doing what bdial suggested.

Unfortunately I still can't seem to make it work. Does the zimlet need to be deployed from a certain location? I have two spots where the com_zimbra_dndext zimlet is located: /opt/zimbra/zimlets-extra/com_zimbra_dndext.zip and /opt/zimbra/zimlets/com_zimbra_dndext.zip
Like I said, this may just be my problem, it may work just fine for others.

    From the release notes:

Drag and Drop files to compose tab for email messages is supported in
versions of Firefox 3.6 or later, Chrome, and Safari 4 browsers, without the
need for extensions/addons. When using Firefox 3.6 + browser, you can
drag and drop files to your Briefcase folders, as well. If you are using
Firefox 3.5 or earlier, you need the plug-in available from the Zimbra
    Gallery,
Zimbra Drag-and-Drop Firefox XPI | Zimbra :: Gallery
Known issues: DND does not work with Internet Explorer. DND does not
work when composing in a new window. (Bug 27153)
The drag and drop Zimlet is now enabled as a core zimlet. (Bug 46325)

    Let's hope it really works
