I used postfix originally to fetch mail from my ISP mailbox ( ex: email@example.com for user test) and deliver it locally on account firstname.lastname@example.org. What i used to do for sending and receiving mail through my ISP mailbox is to:
i) use smtp_generic_maps
for address rewriting.
This is trivial with postfix.
When i started to look at Zimbra, the idea of using distribution list was fascinating. My proble m is that:
When i am using smtp_generic_maps, mail being fetched through fetchmail are being looped back to the ISP mailbox and is refusing to be delivered locally.
Well by desactivating smtp_generic_maps, mails do get deliverd but in that case, mails goes out with non-routable internaet mail address.
I NEED A METHOD FOR ADDRESS REWRITING IN ZIMBRA.
