Default [SOLVED] Upgrading to ZCS 6.0.6 on CENTOS 5

I am currently running ZCS 5.0.2 on Centos 5. The release notes for ZCS 6.0.6 only list the following as platforms that have been tested:

    • RHEL4 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 5 and 6)
    • RHEL4_64 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 5 and
    6)
    • SLES10 - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP3
    • SLES10_64 - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64) SP3
    • SLES11_64 - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11
    • UBUNTU6 - Ubuntu Server 6.06.1 LTS
    • RHEL5 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
    40 April 2010
    • RHEL5_64 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
    • Mac OS 10.4 Tiger
    • UBUNTU 6.06 LTS 32-bit
    • UBUNTU 6.06 LTS 64-bit
    • UBUNTU 8.04 LTS 32-bit

Since Centos5 is based on Redhat would this upgrade be feasible? Has anybody who currently runs Centos 5 upgraded to ZCS 6.0.6 with any issues?

    Thanks.

You should not have any problems running ZCS 6.0.6 under CentOS 5. Just grab the comparable RHEL5 or RHEL5_64 download. Check the release notes and search the forum though. I believe there is an intermediate 5.0.x upgrade necessary for you because you are running an older level of version 5. Your upgrade path will probably be something like 5.0.2 --> 5.0.23 --> 6.0.6.
