Default Edit the SpamAssassin "score" limit?

    Hey guys,

Right now on my system, if I take a look through my mail headers SpamAssassin is reporting it needs a score of 6.6 to designate it as spam. I personally feel this limit is too high, and would like to change it.

Where do I go to make this edit?

    Thanks in advance!

This can be done from the Global Settings --> AntiSpam tab...

Yeah, I see "Kill Percent" and "Tag Percent"... neither of which is the score...

It's based on the the kill number. Tag will tell SA when to add the spam headers.

    Here's what we use:

    Hey Kevin,

Thanks for the reply but I am not 100% sure I understand how the score is calculated.

So for example, if I wanted the score limit to be around 4.0 what would I want to enter for the "kill" and "tag" numbers?

    Thanks man!

I forget how it's calculated.... The settings I gave will result in:

    X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.503 tagged_above=-10 required=4 tests=[AWL=0.061,BAYES_00=-2.599, DSPAM_HAM=-0.1, FORGED_RCVD_HELO=0.135]

So using the settings I posted(that's the Zimbra internal settings) should give you the desired effect.

    Default not all spam received

i had two e-mail systems running in parallel squirellmail/zimbra all my e-mail went to both
systems but i noticed that some spam was missing in zimbra i.e. it didn't reach the junk(or any other folder). It was on the squirrelmail system.

It this due to the kill% i.e. does kill% actually delete a % of the spam & the rest goes in junk
