    Default mail messages color customization

    hello
    this might sound silly we are migrating from lotus domino 8.5.1.2 to zimbra at the moment
    some of the users are complain that new messages are bold and they wanted to changed to lotus color which is red
    my question i have looked around
    /opt/zimbra-cluster/mountpoints/xxxx/jetty-6.1.22.z6/webapps/zimbra/skins/pebble/skin.properties
    iam unable to find which text color to modify for example to change color from bold black to FF0000 which is red

    and if i would like to have this to effect all skins any hints

    the skins wiki is kinda confusing on this part skinning messages

    Thumbs up

    The parameter you're looking for is Text-unread and you can set it any way you like. Anything you don't specify in the skin's skin.properties file gets filled in by the default values specified in the _base/base2/skin.properties file.

    The default value is:

    Code:
    Text-unread = @Text@ font-weight:bold;
    and the @Text@ value stands for color: @TxtC@; where TxtC is #000000. So, to achieve what you want you should add something like the following line to your skin:
    Code:
    Text-unread = color:red; font-weight:bold;
    ... I haven't tried it, but I think you can also change it in the base2 skin and it should apply for all (unless they overwrite this value).

    Did you ever have any luck in getting this to apply? I've changed it and restarted the app and also tried to reload the skin and I'm still not getting the font color to change from black. I'm in the new v7
