Default Connect Outlook to Zimbra Calendar

    Hi,
There in an interesting project on sourceforge named RemoteCalendars that can connect outlook to a webcal calendar.
    Main site
    http://remotecalendars.sourceforge.net/
You can connect in both direction, read and update, outlook and your zimbra calendar.
    Download:
    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/r...3.zip?download

Do not use the last version of remotecalendars because it support timezones but do not recognize the zimbra timezone format.
Tested on Zimbra RC1 and outlook2003, both in italian and english

    Ciao,
    Claudio

I suspect that most people who want to use Outlook with ZCS just get ZCS NE Pro edition and use the Outlook connector.

That said, you might want to check out The Open Outlook Connector Project

    Also, possibly ZideOne.

Both are more "modern" in that they use CalDAV, while remotecalendar seems to use related but older "Webcal" approach (i.e., iCalendar files accessed via WebDAV).

However I haven't tried either one, and ZideOne isn't yet released even in public beta.

Update on this: ZideOne now has a public beta, see ZideOne

However their compatibility testing reports with Zimbra seem to be a bit behind the times. They report based on their beta 8 (they've released beta 14) and Zimbra 6.0.0beta1.
