Default replacement for zmsyslogsetup in 6.0.7_GA_2473?

I just tried to set up a multi-server configuration with Release 6.0.7_GA_2473.RHEL5_64_20100616215237 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition. Apparently, the zmsyslogsetup binary is unavailable. I don't see my stats on my ldap server. Is there something that replaced zmsyslogsetup?

    Thanks!

Can you check file location? It should be on all multiserver servers under /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup According to permissions, should be run as root user.

Do you configured LDAP with Logger? And there will bee ssh keys involved, as well as syslog on server should be configured corectly, to receive stats on logger server.

    I just freshly installed zimbra.
    My logger does not start.
I tried running the script as root /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup

    I get this error

Error: No default configuration found, exiting...

Can anyone tell me why it is doing like that.

This was the only solution i found to start the logger.

That was a mistake. I'd suggest you shutdown zimbra then run the zmfixperms script (as root and only that script as root) then run the zmsyslogsetup again as the Zimbra user and restart zimbra.

    Hey,

where will i find this zmfixperms scrip
Can you help with the command i need to use.

    I guess i found it...

    I believe its /opt/zimbra/libexec/zimfixperms

    But when i run
    zimbra@ip:~$ /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup
    I get
    Must be run as root!

should i run it as a root then ?

Or is there a workaround solution for that.

I did try to run as root, But i still get the same error.
    ip:~#/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup
Error: No default configuration found exiting...

This was after i run zmfixperms script as a root, and then zmsyslogsetup as a root.

That was not what I told you to do, go back and read my reply to your first post.

I followed exactly whatever you asked me to do.
    Steps i took:
    Stopped zimbra
I ran the zmfixperms script as a root
logged back in as zimbra user
ran zmsyslogsetup script as sudo because it was not running if not for root.
    Restarted zimbra.

But i still get the same status of logger stopped
    zmlogswatchctl is not running

I should have got a Updateconfig message once it runs zmsyslogsetup as you said in a previous thread. But i didn't get any confirmation.
    I hope i followed you correctly. :P
