Default Problem sending mail (VMWARE version)

I've installed the downloadable open source VMWARE image and following the instructions have accessed the Admin console and the client web app.

I'm just playing with the software and have left everything as default, including the domain settings.

The problem I have is when I try sending mail between users nothing happens. The mail sends ok, but it never gets delivered to the local user.

I'm not sure what logs or where to look for them so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Learnt loads in the last day. Have now moved on from VMware and installed Linux on a PC and downloaded the latest open source version.

All running ok, external email sending and receiving

btw, the problem I had was resolved with a change to the postfix config file specifiying No to DNS lookups. YAY
