Default No such blob -> delete references

    Hi all,

I have seen there are already some topics concerning this error but what I'd need is something else.

Situation: the server disk space was full full, I couldn't start zimbra by any means. Then I decided to run a script to delete all files for a certain kind of SPAM-mailbox that deletes all files older then a week.
The for the .MSG files located in the opt/zimbra/store.

Now I get the no blob error when running a tool that's supposed to fetch the mails from this mailbox. In other words, it's functionality is broken because of this.

    Code:
    20101213032732769 94ms EXCEPTION Error parsing mail: LumiSoft.Net.POP3.Client.POP3_ClientException: -ERR No such blob: mailbox=31, item=2471832, change=4928923
       at LumiSoft.Net.POP3.Client.POP3_Client.GetMessage(Int32 sequenceNumber, Stream stream)
       at LumiSoft.Net.POP3.Client.POP3_ClientMessage.MessageToStream(Stream stream)
       at LumiSoft.Net.POP3.Client.POP3_ClientMessage.MessageToByte()
       at Mailbrplus.Service.Bounce.BounceCategorisingService.parseMessages()
What I'd need is a script or something else that deletes all the references to the deleted email, because this is what causes the no such blob error.

    Thanks in advance!

zmblobchk is the utility you want. run it with --help to look at the options. it's been a while since i used it but i think the --missing-blob-delete-item is what you want

Thanks a bunch, but is there a possibility to simply delete all dependencies for only one account, I don't want to risk losing data for one of the other accounts (eg. my boss...)

EDIT: zmblobchk is indeed the bomb for this...
    Code:
    zmblobchk --missing-blob-delete-item --export-dir /home/blob --mailboxes 31 start

Well, I'm running the above command
    Code:
    zmblobchk --missing-blob-delete-item --export-dir /home/blob --mailboxes 31 start
But this has not solved the problem because it stops after a while, I guess before all messages are checked.

    Code:
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3136940-5670913.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10728.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3134130-5668161.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10786.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3134619-5668642.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10782.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3135545-5669547.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 12102.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3136405-5670388.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10767.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3136195-5670182.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 12124.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3136505-5670486.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10789.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3136285-5670270.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 12076.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3136507-5670488.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10768.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3134099-5668131.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 10782.
Mailbox 31, volume 1, /opt/zimbra/store/0/31/msg/253/3135125-5669135.msg: unexpected blob. File size is 11019.
    zimbra@zimbramail:/root$
So it runs through about 100 of the /msg/ folders of user /31/ but then it stops, I know there are more of them. Does the tool have a maximum number of msg somewhere?
I also don't have the impression the 'blobs' are effectively deleted. Eg. in the mailbox, via webmail, there are still as much mails as there were before.

Hope to fix this one asap! Thanks!

Is it possible to delete no such blob or unexpected blob like deleting appointments from command-line
    (http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Deleting...command-line)?

Lowlow if you advance in this question, could you post solution? I'm having the same problem a week ago and can not find solution.

    Thanks,
