    Default ZCS 5 -> 6 mailboxes migrate

    Hi. I have zimbra OpenSource 5 installed on Ubuntu 8.04 amd66.
    I'd like to move to another server with Ubuntu 10.04 installed also having installed the latest Zimbra 6 release.
    as there is no zimbra 5 for ubuntu 10.04 i have to install Zimbra 6. so i did it and imported all LDAP data, but - what can I do with mailbox store?
    the only thing I can use is to do
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m getRestURL “//?fmt=tgz” > /tmp/account.tgz
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m postRestURL “//?fmt=tgz&resolve=reset” /tmp/account.tgz
    but it takes too much time (200gb folder size and too much downtime needed).

    I tried to use rsync and import mysql data but there are some differences in 'mailbox' table structure.
    what is the best way of moving the mailboxes? thanks.

    Upgrade your server to the current release of Zimbra (check the Release Notes for details) then move Zimbra to a new server: +move +server - Yahoo! Search Results Make sure you take adequate backups before and after the upgrades and the move.

    BTW, if you're moving to a 64bit server then you will need a different procedure: +32bit +64bit - Yahoo! Search Results
