    Question Calendar sharing and POP users

    Greetings. Question about sharing calendars:

    When a user shares their calendar with someone, a special message is delivered to the inbox that notifies the user of this.

    If a user fetches that message via POP, they don't get any indication of what the function of the message was.

    How do others handle this situation?

    Thanks!

    can you post what the users see? It is a multipart/alternative message with text/plain, text/html and a xml/x-zimbra-share alternatives.

    The user is POPing his mail from Mail.app on a Mac. The calendar share message he gets from me has multipart/alternative as the MIME type.

    Mail.app has no idea what to do with it. If he saves the mime-attachment file, it contains:

    <share xmlns="urn:zimbraShare" version="0.1" action="new" >
    <grantee id="e3d990f9-6de7-4049-b62e-833ac9ed0fb2"
    email="gerir@ninginc.com" name="gerir@ninginc.com" />
    <grantor id="af3e1911-ab00-4221-9a16-e1a553759433"
    email="alexei@ninginc.com" name="Alexei Rodriguez" />
    <link id="18232" name="Ning OPS" view="appointment" perm="r" />
    <notes></notes>
    </share>

    What would be useful is if there was a description of what this email is supposed to be and a link embedded in this message (outside of the share xml) that would allow a user to do something with the info.

    Thanks.
