Default SSL certificate with different hostname

Our Zimbra Server NE 7.0.1 is configured as, although it's also serving as and

We want to setup SSL form, but when we request the CSR from the admin interface, Zimbra only allows us to use as common name. Any way to fix this? Can we use openSSL instead to generate the CSR?

Additional / other hostnames may be specified as "Subject Alternative Name" further down the list. If you wan to generate the CSR for a commercial certificate authority you have to make sure that all desired hostnames (CNs) meet the same TLD.
