Im having a real bad problem. I had run zimbra and was working on it when i had to immediately shut down my comp because the lights went and my ups was running out....What finally happened was the ups ran out before the comp could shut down properly and so zimbra wasnt stopped....the next time i started it nad ran "zmcontrol start", it only started LDAP. zmcontrol status gave me the following...
Cannot determine services - exiting
zmcontrol stop gives the following:
Killing mysqld with pid 5995 /opt/zimbra/bin/mysql.server: line 58: kill: (5995) - No such process
.............................. gave up waiting!
Nothing was working...i tried reinstalling zimbra....
this is what i get:

Please can someone help me??
Im running on Fedora 5..
ps auxx | grep zimbra
and kill any left over zcs processes.
Then try to start.
If that doesn't work, run a:
and see if that get's it running.
Also, I noticed you did not choose "Upgrade" when you first tried the re-install.
All your data was toasted when you did that, so I assume you had nothing there that you wanted to backup?
If that is the case, you could manually rm -rf /opt/zimbra, ensure there are no services running and then re-install again.
