    Question what is stands for .cfs file in /zimbra/index/0 what happen if i delete them?

    I am unable to make free space on my zimbra mail server by deleting users mails from there inboxes.

    there are so many big files what are they stand sor
    /zimbra/index/0/29/index/0/_e5q.cfs: 225M
    /zimbra/index/0/37/index/0/_c1o.cfs: 444M
    /zimbra/index/0/2/index/0/_ibt.cfs: 877M

    what happen if i delete of them??

    I may be wrong, but I think those are per-user indexes, I'm guessing that anything needing search will break for the lucky user you have deleted for, possibly a reindex will recreate them though.

    That is correct.

    They are the Lucene indexes for user searching. If you do delete them, you can recreate them by executing "zmprov rim <emailaddress>"
