Default Move from OSE 4 on SLES9 to NE 7.1 on Ubuntu 10.04

How do i move users and all their settings and data from the old Open Source Edition to the new Network Edition ?

The running server is a SLES9 32 bit with Release 4.5.9_GA_1454.SuSEES9_20071016194135 SuSEES9 FOSS edition.

The new server i a Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit with Release 7.1.0_GA_3140.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 NETWORK edition.

What is the best way to get the job done ?

You need to follow the instructions in the 32bit to 64bit migration article (you'll find it in the wiki). You will first need to upgrade to a recent Open Source version then move it to the new server and then upgrade to the Network Edition (the versions must be the same when you do the move). Make sure you take adequate backups of the /opt/directory before you do any upgrades.

The newest for SLES9 is 4.5.11.
There are no 64 bit versions. There are a 32 bit version for Ubuntu 6.

It will not only be upgrades from zimbra to zimbra versions, but OS as well.

I dont think it is the way to do it.

There must be a better way.

    I am open for suggestions.
