Default Zimbra Backup Process to perform periodic mysqldumps

Where does Zimbra put this back up file?

Beginning with ZCS 7, Zimbra has added a local configuration parameter that causes the Zimbra Backup Process to perform periodic mysqldumps of the mysql data (mboxgroups) to facilitate recovery in the rare case of mysql database corruption. (zmlocalconfig –e mysql_backup_retention=<N>).

The text on the page seem to state that the version 7.x does automatic dumps by default. I cant find out where they go and when.

No it doesn't, the configuration parameter shows you that the default is "N".

You've been told they go in the Backup target directory. You do realise that this is run as part of the zmbackup process (when enabled) and is an NE feature, don't you? Enabling this would also consume lots of HD space, you'd need to make sure you have it available - I'd suggest you search bugzilla for this and read the bug report in detail.
