Default installation of wildcard SSL certificate

I am trying to install an SSL wildcard certificate on Zimbra 7.1.1 using this guide: Preexisting Certifcate Installation for Zimbra 6.0 - Zimbra :: Wiki

    I have the following:
    • A wildcard SSL certificate
    • An intermediate CA certificate
    • the CSR for the *.domain
    • the public cert of the CA which issued the CSR
    • the public cert of the commercial CA issuing the wildcard SSL certificate

Now I got a bit stuck on the names of the certificates and what exactly they are referencing:

    • AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt: the public cert of the commercial CA issuing the wildcard SSL certificate?
    • UTNAddTrustServerCA: intermediate CA certificate?
    • domain.com.crt: wildcard SSL certificate?
    • domain.com.key: what is this (the CSR for the *.domain?)

Can someone help me please get this right?

By the way, we got our certificate from RapidSSL.

    Default

    1. AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt: You can contact SSLMatrix.com support team and collect the correct Root and Intermediate CA files bundle. If you install incomplete or incorrect CA certs, it does not work and generate invalid or untrusted ssl error.

    2. UTNAddTrustServerCA: This will be included in root ca bundle.

    3. domain.com.crt: Yes, it is the wildcard ssl certificate issued from RapidSSL. You should have received the Certificate Key in email from Rapidssl.

    4. domain.com.key: This is exactly what you're confused about. It is the PRIVATE KEY for your domain. When you generate CSR key (Certificate Sigining Request), Private key was generated same time. If you lost or misplaced this Private key, you need to process reissue or re-key and do the same job again.

Wildcard SSL installation process is same as installing single domain ssl. You can contact support team at support@sslmatrix.com for the installation assistance and key files collection.
