    Default Disabling Spam Filtering

I'm looking to install Zimbra at an office that has a Barracuda security appliance for filtering spam and viruses.

So, I've thought about turning Zimbra's spam filtering off for this installation.

Are there any benefits to doing so, or should I just leave it as is?

In general if you think the Barracuda is enough then you can disable Zimbra's AS/AV support. However in most cases it doesn't hurt to have another layer of protection especially if you have the hardware to support the additional CPU usage that AS/AV scanning requires.

You also get the adaptive training with Zimbra (train SA and dspam) which you'd not get with Barracuda.
Looking for new beta users -> Co-Founder of Acompli. Previously worked at Zimbra (and Yahoo! & VMware) since 2005.
