Default Vacation messages bounce to user

I have users how setup vacation messages and messages back stating that vacation message bounced. I have had troubles with distribution lists also.

We can send messages directly through regular email, it is the vacation message that sends this back. No sure why there is "prvs=6194D4EB0F=" attached to the email address.

    Thanks in advance!

    Default prvs issue

    Good afternoon,
I am having the same problem. When I look at the header information, the Return-Path: field is appending a prvs=53388FC7B7?= in front of the sender's email address. If you do a straight reply to the sender, it works as expected. If there is a vacation message that is prompting the reply, you get an undeliverable message. I searched for a possible reason for this and the prvs is a "Simple Private Signature" tagging scheme "for determining whether the bounce address specified in an email message is valid. It is designed to reject backscatter, that is, bounce messages to forged return addresses." I am not sure how to configure my server to correctly respond to this Internet Draft tagging system. Anyone have an idea for me?
