    Post Switching Mail servers

I am switching mail servers from Sendmail to Zimbra (just a little upgrade) and we used to have a senmail "access" file that allowed us to not require SMTP Auth from the IP's that we administer. Now I know that this is generally not a good idea to do this and SMTP auth is the best solution but for ease of upgrade we want to temporarily enable this feature so that we can get everybody switchedover then we'll go back and start having users change their settings.

Anybody know how to "whitelist" blocks of IP's so they do not require SMTP Auth? I am running Zimbra Network Edition.

You will need to use zmprov to modify the LDAP attribute zimbraMtaMyNetworks

    zmprov mcf zimbraMtaMyNetworks ""

    Arrow It's that easy!

Dang... that was too easy. I was hoping for an edit in a text file three layers deep plus a complete system reinstall... but i guess this will have to do.
