This is my example info:
Old server name: correo.domain.com
New server name: mail.domain.com
[zimbra@mail ~]$ zmcontrol -v
Release 7.1.2_GA_3268.RHEL5_64_20110804132448 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition.
This server is running on Applogic Appliance under CentOs 5.6 x 64 bits
I did change the server name of our Zimbra Open Source with this command:
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetservername -n mail.domain.com
And I didn't get any warning.
But when I try to login to http://mail.domain.com the browser redirect me to the URL http://correo.domain.com (old name server)
Also, in the Admin Console, when I click in check email I get this error:
Operation sent to wrong host (you want 'correo.domain.com') Error Code: service.WRONG_HOST Details:soap:Sender
I restarted the zimbra, also the server and I still get the same problems.
This is my /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx mail.domain.com mail
The DNS is property configured, mail.domain.com is pointing to the right IP.
Please any help will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
