    Are you running the postconf command as root or as the zimbra user? What exactly are you trying to do? BTW, you don't stop or start postfix itself, you use the zimbra commands to stop/start the services.

    Dear phoenix,
    yesterday my postfix not working giving atached error. and todya i wnat to start that zimbra server it giving above mention error. previously i login in zimbra and directly put commnad Postfix stop and start but now its showing sudo: /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/postconf: command not found

    I've already told you that you do npt stop/start postfix by issuing the "postfix start" command, use the commands that Zimbra provides for stopping and starting the services.

    What was the error you received when you had a problem? Posting one out-of-context line from the log files is no use, you need to give more information about what exactly happened on the server and what errors there are in the log files. Shutdown Zimbra the restart it and see what happens and what errors you get and post the status of the services.

    Have you actually searched the forums for this error? Have you tried fixing the permissions using zmfixperms (search the forums for details)?
