Default MAPI connector in Open Source edition?

recently tried 7.1.3 Open source edition and found there's one option in COS for : MAPI (Microsoft Outlook) Connector??

please correct me if i'm wrong but it seems to me this is the killer feature only available in professional edition?? why it's also available in open source edition now?

    any advice?

No, currently this is only available with NE however I am pretty keen to know what you would like to achieve with MAPI and also interested in knowing why not to use powerful Zimbra web interface or desktop? I have so many customers who are happy with OSS and were using outlook before, then I had to convince them about OSS rather than investing in NE along with PST migration options by which their earlier mails can be pumped up on server. Though this wont scale in huge environment by 1000 times better if OSS can suffice your need.
