    If I leave it off I get this:

    ERROR : the mail value must be '1' or '0' to disable mail notification
    Utilisation: ./quota_zimbra.pl -mail [yes | no] -warning 85 -critical 90
    Options:
    -mail [yes | no]
    if you want to disable the mail report to the user please. The default value is 'no'
    -warning INTEGER
    allow you to set up the warning threshold. The default value is 85
    -critical INTEGER
    allow you to set up the critical threshold. The default value is 90

    As a test change the 2nd mailinform to a 1
    Code:
    my $mailinform = 1;
    [skip down]
    $mailinform =  "0" unless $mailinform;
    And if you want, try : instead of = in the below so it would be mail:s (to make it optional on the line & just use the current value)
    Random thought, does GetOptions in perl require a double dash -- instead of a single - ?
    Though you would be the first to complain, so it makes me wonder if it's not something else on your end.
    Code:
    GetOptions ('mail=s' => \$mailinform,
      'warning=s' => \$warning,
      'critical=s' => \$critical
      );

      if ($mailinform !~ /^(0|1)$/) {
      print "ERROR : the mail value must be '1'  or '0' to disable mail notification\n";
      print_usage();
    }
    Out of curiosity have you tried with an older version of that script because this probably needs to be fixed to reflect the 1/0 usage instead of yes/no:
    Code:

    print "Utilisation: ./quota_zimbra.pl -mail [yes | no]
    print "\t-mail [yes | no]\n";

    I'll try that. Something that I forgot to mention that could be part of the issue, we are running a multi server solution.

    2 mail stores,
    2 MTA's

    Thanks,
    Jim

    It did not like when I made that change,

    ./quota_zimbra.pl -warning 75 -critical 90
    syntax error at ./quota_zimbra.pl line 84, near "$mailinform :"
    Execution of ./quota_zimbra.pl aborted due to compilation errors.

    Zimbra can't send mail from the mail store's when it uses MTA's can it? or are the MTA's only used for outbound.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hi there,

    I'm really sorry for the mistakes on the code ! I just correct it on the wiki. One more time : I'm really sorry for this.

    I did'nt test this script on a multi server solution so you probably right when you say "Zimbra can't send mail from the mail store's".

    You can just try to send an email with the command line (using the sendmail binary : /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/sendmail) from where you try to run the script. May be we will have a clue !

    [root@zimbra0 ~]# /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/sendmail
    -bash: /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/sendmail: No such file or directory

    So thats not working. No other way I can push it over to the other server is there?

    Thanks,
    Jim

    arf !
    So I suppose that for your achitecture you can't send mail from your mail store server...

    May be you can try to send mail via a ssh command / or check the quota by ssh if you want to run the script from the other server ?
