Default External AD - LDAP with SSL Error

I want to use External AD for email authentication. I am using my PDC. It works fine when not using SSL. The test works and I tested a client login using webmail.

I change to SSL (Use SSL CheckBox). I get the following error when testing connection: Authentication test failed. See Attached for Java errors.

How do I handle this? If this requires a cert on the domain controller, is there a step by step as I do not know how to create certs and use them.

Also, is it recommended or a best practice to use SSL on LDAP since from external clients will be connecting to the Zimbra Server via SSL, so at the point of username authentication between Zimbra and PDC, it is within the internal network?

    Thank You.
