I have Zimbra 7.1 Open Source setup on our server. The domain records have @ pointing to the server (for simplicity lets call it domain.com). The MX records also use @ ANAME as the entry. The problem however is that we have a separate server www.domain.com which serves as our webserver. When people enter the http://domain.com into the browser it will load up Zimbra instead of hitting the webserver. Is there a way that http://www.domain.com and http://domain.com will both point to our webserver without changing the @ entry to the webserver's IP ?
During the install Zimbra requested the @ record to point to the IP of the mailserver.
Here's a simplified layout of our domain.com entry table:
@ IN A mailserverIP
@ IN TXT "v=spf1 a:mail.domain.com -all"
@ IN MX 10 mail.domain.com
mail IN A mailserverIP
www IN A webserverIP
The above works perfectly for mail, but has the webserver issue mentioned above.
