Default Login with account to different subdomains

    Hello,

I have the following problem ...

I have configured two domains (domain1.com, domain2.com), two users with mail-adresses to their domains, e.g. user1@domain1.com and user2@domain2.com and two subdomains for login (mail.domain1.com and mail.domain2.com).

The problem now: I can login with both users using both subdomains.
It means I can use user1@domain1.com and login at the loginscreen of mail.domain2.com - this I donīt want.

I want that the users can only login at their URL (user1@domain1.com --> mail.domain1.com and user2@domain2.com --> mail.domain2.com).

    Whatīs wrong there?

You probably want two separate Zimbra installations then. Although they're on different domains, they're all on the same server, so of course it's going to let them log in. They're still only going to get the mail and so forth for the account that they actually logged into. And if you don't tell them that both of them work, they probably won't even know unless they try it by accident.

Actually, if you have them use the short part of their account name (only the part before the @) that will only work on the appropriate virtual host. If they don't supply the domain name as part of their username when they log in, it will append the domain name associated with the virtual host they're using to log in.

They'll still need the full email address for imap/pop3 though.
