    Default Move Zimbra login page

    Hello,

I installed Zimbra zcs-7.1.4_GA_2555 on Debian 5, 64 bit using the all in one install from Open Source Edition Downloads: Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Software by Zimbra.

It's working quite fine but I would like to have the login page not on the main page of my domain. That means: if entering www.mydomain.com the Zimbra login appears.

I would like to have the login page at mail.mydomain.com or www.mydomain.com/mail with forced SSL.

I think it's not that difficult but I'm not so fimiliar with Virtual Host redirects and so on.

Could you tell me how to do that?

    Thanks very much in advance!

What you probably want to do is have Zimbra listen on an alternate port, and then run Apache on ports 80/443 with your normal domain on it. The virtual host in apache for your mail subdomain can redirect to the alternate port.
