    Default SPAM folder not clearing

I believe I have my SPAM folders set to clear after 1 day, but after a week it's up to 2500+ messages.

    Under Global Settings it shows:
Sleep time between subsequent mailbox purges = 12 hours.

    Under Server Settings it shows:
Sleep time between subsequent mailbox purges = 12 hours.

Under the COS assigned it shows:
    E-mail message lifetime = 0 days
Trashed message lifetime = 1 day
Spam message lifetime = 1 day

It also says (under the COS) "Note: These settings will not have effect if zimbraMailSleepPurgeInterval is disabled in either the server or global config." I believe it is not disabled because in both the server & the global config it shows 12 hours. Of course there may be a separate setting to enable/disable it that I just don't see, or it might be available at the CLI and I haven't found it yet.

I'm also not sure if the Trash folder is emptied automatically, I generally dump it myself just to keep the mailbox size semi controlled.

    Thanks for any advice!

    Default

Found the CLI instructions here. Looks like it's set right.

I also noticed the wiki says the default is 1 min, mine was defaulted to 1 day and I changed it to 1/2 day (aka 12 hrs).
    Code:
zimbra@mail:/root$ zmprov gacf | grep zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval
    zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval: 12h
    zimbra@mail:/root$ zmprov gs mail.mydomain.com | grep zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval
    zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval: 12h
What else do I need to be looking at?

    Thanks!!

Default anything undeletable in the trash folder?

I had this problem when I had some undeletable/immutable folders in my trash (extra Inbox/Sent/Trash folders from doing strange things experimenting with importing mail into my account). It didn't become a problem until we upgraded from version 5 to 7.

I moved the undeletable folders out of my trash and the messages began purging correctly again.

I already keep my trash folder purged, so that's not it. I just don't get why it's not purging at the schedule I specified.
