    Don't forget /opt/zimbra/bin/zmsyslogsetup after zmupdateauthkeys ....

    Ah. Thanks.

    Although it should be run as root, and the path is /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup on version 6 and later.

    Indeed I did recreate the keys, and all seems well with that. Since this is a hobby, I only get to poke at it a little at a time. The search continues.

    Admin the mail system it's a job, play with it and fool around this forums, nice as a hobby. I've managed to get well paid for that

    Default Server stats appeared

    Today I logged on to my admin console, and the server stats were all up and running.

    I wish I could say I know what I did to get them working, but I'm not sure. Perhaps making sure the right logging package was installed is what did the trick.

    I think all the suggestions in this thread are good starting points for anyone with a similar problem. There are a lot of potential points of failure.
