    Default Migration to Zimbra 7 - mail account uses external transport

    I have migrated a ccounts from zimbra 5 to 7 and there is a red asterisk on the accounts

    I have looked at http://www.zimbra.com/forums/adminis...port-quot.html

    when I ran zmprov ma user@domain.com zimbraMailTransport lmtp:your.zimbra.server:7025, on an account, I get this error

    ERROR: service.FAILURE (system failure: java.lang.NullPointerException)

    what could be the problem?

    also check zimbraMailHost on that account.

    zmprov usually attempts to forward the command to the server hosting the account. If it looks like it's not a zimbra server it'll error. You can try "zmprov -l ga xxxxxx" which will force it to use the LDAP server instead of SOAP.
