I've got myself into a little quandry with my multi-server install. To split the load, I installed mailbox, logger, snmp, and spell services on server1. I installed mta, antispam, antivirus, ldap, snmp, and logger (again) on server2. I am seeing broken gifs when trying to view server statistics via the admin console on server1. After reading the multi-server install guide, I found out that logger should only be installed once, and on the first mailbox server, server1 in my case.
select * from mta_aggregate
to take a peek at the table on both servers. Of course, server2 has a ton of rows in this table while server1 has zippo.
Is there a way for me to safely uninstall the logger service from server2 and have server1 take over this role thereby allowing me to view the stats through the mailbox server (admin interface) that exists on that server only?
I'd be ok with losing stats collected to this point but would like to get stats going forward. And, of course, I'd like to do this without disturbing any of the rest of the ecosystem, i.e. users/mail, that is already loaded.
