    Here is an example of my script, it has to be run on the Zimbra server, it has to be run under the Zimbra user:

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh

    IFS=","
    while read email password display firstname lastname quota
    do
        echo Email: $email
        echo Password: $password
        echo Display: $display
        echo First: $firstname
        echo Last: $lastname
        echo Quota: $quota

        zmprov ca "$email" "$password" displayName "$display" givenName "$firstname" sn "$lastname" zimbraMailQuota "$quota"

    done </home/doug/accounts.csv
    Example of my accounts.csv

    Code:
    booger@drdos.info,12BoogerPass12,Doug Lytle,Doug,Lytle,41943040000

    Dear lytledd,

    I really appreciate your quick and wise reply.
    In fact goggling around and searching the forums I did come across a script by user name gyt and implemented it and it just worked great.

    but the only problem it works on a text file and was no mention of quotas

    but your script is just grt..

    I will test it and let you know

    regards

    Dear lytledd,

    i tried your script and wow it worked like a charm
    I did have a small issue gave an error for quotes but it was due to missin tab..

    but it worked just grt.

    million thanks once again

    just wanna do one more thing that is

    i would like the user to be forced to change his password on his first login instead of fixing his passwd.

    i will check that and let you know

    regards

    simon
