Default suggest best practice to restore email messages

    on ZCS NE 7.1.4 multi-server, a user had accidentally deleted emails on a certain date(s) e.g: 6 & 7th of May 2012.

How do I recover these emails while keeping emails before that that intact?

I had in mind of restoring full-backup up to that day after that (8th of May maybe?) to a new account and forward all requested emails to that user. Any faster/efficient way?

    Hi,

why not sharing the new bal with restored mails with the user.
He can then restore himself his mails.

when i use admin console restore option under backups to a specific time, it does not output successful restore message but only blank page with finish button and restore_user mailbox does not get created. What could be the problem here?

seemwd that this is a quota issue that made the restore failed found in /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log
