Default How to restrict Zimbra FROM address only to authenticated connection?

    Hi,

in parallel to another post here it slept my mind a question: does Zimbra restrict the FROM address to be one of Zimbra's own addresses only to authenticated SMTP sessions? Or does it allow anyone to send FROM one of the Zimbra's addresses?

Hmmm... seems I look at the problem from the wrong side.

AFAIK Spamassasin should have SPF check enabled, and should reject all SPF hard fails. The questions here are:
    - why is SPF not implemented by default in Zimbra?
    - would SPF check (beside additional DNS lookup) impact performance of Zimbra server?
    - should SPF check be enabled in POSTFIX configuration, or better via Spamassasin?
