    Default Zimbra Admin Console

Hello, please excuse me if I'm in the wrong section.

I've recently installed Zimbra 7.2 on Centos 6.2 on a remote server.

Installation went well, no problems encountered.

However, I can't access my admin console. I've opened all the necessary ports on the firewall.

    Code:
    [root@localhost ~]# cat /etc/sysconfig/iptables
    # Generated by iptables-save v1.4.7 on Fri Jun 22 14:15:03 2012
    *filter
    :INPUT ACCEPT [0:0]
    :FORWARD ACCEPT [0:0]
    :OUTPUT ACCEPT [11:1420]

The nmap scan looks like this:

Interestingly I can access the web client.

    Am I missing something?

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

btw youre missing a proper firewall ocnfig.
i really suggest you use firewallbuilder which went totally gpl and licensefree since a month or 2

it helps you generate way more sophisticated rules visually and impplements them remotly by ssh (desktop programm cross platform)
in their doc youll also find a lot of very important basic rules like
    prevent spoofing
    anti christams pakets
    and so on...

also you define one time which services you want or need, bind em into group objects and youll never miss em anymore ever
you can use it to manage multiple platforms, clusters and even ciscorouters and a lot more

btw the guy who wrote that peace over 10 years now was the designer of googles datacenter infrastructure so he really knows what he is doing

i know it sounds like advertisment but hey its GPL

Hey....so I figured it out. My VM has been sitting behind another machine, which hadn't forwarded port 7071 traffic to my VM, infact hadn't opened the port at all.

Also noticed some errors relating to the java jdk setup that may have caused issues. I'll look into that and see if I can get it working.

    Thanks for the help!
