Default Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.

    Hi,

We've had a standalone Zombra server running for nearly a year without any issues, suddenly over the weekend it died with no one able to log in. When I try and do zmcontrol start I recieve the following:

    Code:
    zimbra@mail:/$ zmcontrol start
    Host mail.nahtofficials.org.uk
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Unable to determine enabled services. Cache is out of date or doesn't exist.
    Server version is
    Code:
    zimbra@mail:/$ zmcontrol -v
    Release 7.1.2_GA_3268.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 FOSS edition.
I've had a look through the forums and seen the posts about checking split-dns setup, below are the sanitised outputs from the steps in the verify section:

    Code:

The only thing I can see that doesn't look quite right is the lack of an A record for nahtofficials.org.uk in the "dig any" response. Can anyone shed any light or has any pointers for further diagnostic steps please tell me as this is a production box and I'm getting some flak for it being unvailable.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Have you checked if your certificates are expired? Check it with the command line tools.

Thanks Bill, that was exactly what it was. I feel a bit of an idiot for fixating on the DNS issue now!

    Thanks again for your help,

    Rob

    That is the usual reason.
