Default Zimbra 8 - Can't edit appointments after migration from 7.2.0 to 8.0.0

    Hi all,

after migrating succesfully from 7.2.0 to 8.0.0 it appears that users can't edit their appointments. By double-clicking an calendar entry nothing happens. First thing I checked were the GALSync Settings. But they are O.K.

Has anybody seen this before? Thank you very much for any help!

    HI Andreas,
ARe you seeing this with German locale? See the following bugs:
https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77472 -- [da/de/sv/it/ru/uk/br/pl ] Unable to save new appointments after creation or change them in languages which use comma (,) as decimal mark
https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77562 -- [IT/DE] Get error "Unità di tempo non valida: le unità di rinvio valide sono minuti, ore, giorni o settimane" when snoozing reminder

The first issue can be fixed by updating your locale files:
    https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77472#c11

Then flushing the cache: zmprov fc all.

The second bug, 77562, requires a code change that will be available in 8.0.2.

    Hi,

this happens no matter what language or locale settings. I applied the changes for Bug #77472 and # 77562 to no avail.
Strange thing is that this only appears with an upgraded installation. A new 8.0.0 installation behaves O.K.
I filed a Bug report: Bug 78367 – Can't edit appointments after upgrading

    Have a great day.
    Best regards
