The same error, i´ve been trying to check the listening ports and everything it´s ok, there´s any other procedure I might do before on the original server for the migration process?

Have you looked on the old server in the ldap logs? Is the new server trying to connect? Does it have permissions? Are you using the correct port and does it need SSL?

    Hi Everybody,

I'm not sure if you managed to get through this yet, but if not, here is how is should work:

Let's say you created a domain on the old Zimbra system called testdomain.com, then your base DN would be "dc=testdomain,dc=com".
Let's say you created a domain on the old Zimbra system called anotherdomain.com, then your base DN would be "dc=anotherdomain,dc=com".
Let's say you created a domain on the old Zimbra system called mydomain.tld, then your base DN would be "dc=mydomain,dc=tld".

I hope this helps anybody that may be confused about this.

    Regards,
    GWilliams

Your issue appears to be attempting to talk to the wrong port. My guess is it is listening on 389 not 636.
