    Unhappy Setup IMAP Server

    Zimbra : zcs-8.0.0_GA_5434.RHEL6_64.20120907144639
    OS : CentOS 6.2

Hi, i'm newbie in here, i want ask you something.
Yesterday i successful to install ZCS 8.0 on CentOS 6.2 in the internal network, all services running.

I have also been able to access the web admin and create a user.

But when i want to make a push email using the Samsung Note, using IMAP. Always appears an error message that the user and password I enter is wrong, actually user and password I enter is correct.

Are they any special settings for the IMAP server, in the Server or Web Admin?

Note : I do not use the domain for the user.

    Hi,

By default, Imap is configured over SSL in Zimbra. Hence, use port 993 for IMAPs with SSL enabled.

I don't understand what you mean by that comment, what exactly does that mean?

Then you must have disabled it, by default both port 143 & 993 are enabled - go to the Admin UI and check if it's enabled.

That error usually means exactly what it says.

Have you actually provisioned the users in Zimbra (you must)? Are you using an external source for user authentication?
