    Default Error installing zimbra 7.2.1 on Fedora 11

    Hi,

    I am installing zcs-7.2.1 on fedora11 but getting error.


    Removing /opt/zimbra
    Removing zimbra crontab entry...done.
    Cleaning up zimbra init scripts...done.
    Cleaning up /etc/ld.so.conf...done.
    Cleaning up /etc/prelink.conf...done.
    Cleaning up /etc/security/limits.conf...done.

    Finished removing Zimbra Collaboration Suite.

    Installing packages

    zimbra-core......zimbra-core-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-ldap......zimbra-ldap-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-logger......zimbra-logger-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-mta......zimbra-mta-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-snmp......zimbra-snmp-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-store......zimbra-store-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-apache......zimbra-apache-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    zimbra-spell......zimbra-spell-5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5-20090206115340.i386.rpm...done
    /usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/IO/IO.so: undefined symbol: Perl_Tstack_sp_ptr

    can someone help me with this error ? How to fix it ?

    Do you think it could be anything to do with the fact you're installing the wrong version of ZCS on Fedora?

    Hi Bill
    i downloaded it from zimbra link http://files2.zimbra.com/downloads/7...0815212042.tgz which is for fedora11 32 bit.
    Or Please suggest an 32bit OS on which it can be installed.

    That may be what you've downloaded but that's not what the error messages shows (see below).

    That is not the same version that you've downloaded and it's also a very old version of Zimbra.

    You should note that all 32bit versions of Zimbra are deprecated, you'll eventually need to move to a 64bit version.
