Default Change IP for Web Mail Server

    Hi,
I have multi-home server. I would like to change IP of Web Mail Server. How to?

Actually Web Mail Server was bound to 127.0.0.1 so that It can be accessed from outside.

Zimbra should bind to all available IP addresses.

That's rather a confusing statement as the loopback adapter is no-routable and therefore not visible outside a LAN.

    Hi,

I expected so, but it is not.

    [root@www ~]# netstat -na | grep :90
    tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:90 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
    tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:902 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
    [root@www ~]#

    During installation I changed
    10) Web server HTTP port: 90

because port 80 is being used.

Logged to the box, I can "telnet 127.0.0.1 90" and found Web Server is listening here, but I can telnet to port 90 of any other real IP.

    Hi,
I am using Version 8.0.1_GA_5438.FOSS. Perhaps this problem doesn't happen to previous version.

I think below process is Web Mail:

    /opt/zimbra/java/bin/java -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -server -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dsun.net.inetaddr.ttl=60 -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m -XX:SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB=1 -verbose:gc -XX:+PrintGCDetails -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintGCApplicationStoppedTime -XX:-OmitStackTraceInFastThrow -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Xss256k -Xms3993m -Xmx3993m -Xmn998m -Djava.io.tmpdir=/opt/zimbra/mailboxd/work -Djava.library.path=/opt/zimbra/lib -Djava.endorsed.dirs=/opt/zimbra/mailboxd/common/endorsed -Dzimbra.config=/opt/zimbra/conf/localconfig.xml -Djetty.home=/opt/zimbra/mailboxd -DSTART=/opt/zimbra/mailboxd/etc/start.config -jar /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/start.jar OPTIONS=Server,jsp,jmx,resources,websocket,ext,jta ,plus,rewrite,setuid /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/etc/jetty.properties /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/etc/jetty-setuid.xml /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/etc/jetty.xml

But I don't know how to change IP, to make it to bind to real IPs, not 127.0.0.1
