    Unhappy Zimbra Logger and MTA service cannot start

    Dear all,

    My Zimbra service was running well in these months, however, it stopped suddenly yesterday. After reboot, I tried to start the Zimbra service, but got the following problem of logger and MTA. Anyone can help me ?? I can't get back my emails now.

    Looks like your certs may have expired?

    You'll find details if you search the forums or wiki for the word "certificate", you can also recreate them in the Admin UI.

    I tried to run "/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr createca" to regen the cert, however, I got an error "** Retrieving Commercial CA cert from ldap...failed."

    ldap server was running, when I tested by "telnet 192.168.x.x 389", but it failed using "telnet [localhost or 127.0.01] 389" and returned connection refused error.

    Any ideas to resolve it.

    Likely that isn't an error. Unless you actually used a commercial cert, and used zmcertmgr to install it, you will always see that message. I would suggest going through https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Adminis...ools#zmcertmgr
