    I use a similar spec machine and get a much faster response than yours, is there any tasks running on that machine that might cause a problem? I see you're running in mixed mode, have you tried just https to see if it helps? Does top show anything unusual or are there many processes/tasks running? Something really seems to be causing a bottleneck on that machine.

    Is it CentOS4 that you're running? I'm currently using CentOS4.4 myslef. Have you done a system update to make sure it's current?

    The server average is pretty low. Is a dedicated machine for zimbra.

    centos is fully updated.

    Haven't tried https but i will as soon as i can get the email delivered j/k

    Any ideas why email is not getting delivered?

    thanks a bunch,

    I checked again my firewall to see if maybe the problem is there.

    This are the ports i have open on my pf

    zimbra_server = "{ www, ssh, smtp, pop3, imap, https, pop3s, imaps, smtps, 7071, 389 }"

    I guessed those ports so maybe i'm missing one or have more ports open than needed.

    Thanks,
    Fernando

    Found the problem.

    The firewall was working fine.

    We removed an ip alias from the server and seems that zimbra was using it. i added it again and everything is working again smoothly.

    Now i just need to know how do i change the server ip without reinstalling.

    Any hints?

    Thanks,
    Fernando
