    Default Mailbox query date and time

    Hello zimbra Admins,

    i'm trying to export zimbra mailboxes using the getRestURL method.
    unfortunately,i'm not able to formulate a working query to search mailboxes in a range of time based on hours and minutes related to a date that isn't "now".

    i tried the following queries:

    "after:02/05/2011 11:10:00" => gives me error
    "after:02/05/2011/11/10" => gives me error
    "after:02/05/2011+11h" => returns all the day
    "after:1360059000" => returns all the day

    it seems that it's only possible to use time specifications if they are related to the current time, like for example:

    "after:-11h"
    "after:-10m"

    but it isn't what i need.

    is there a way that i'm missing to accomplish that requirement?

    thank you very much.

    nobody interested on that?
    nobody who does hourly backups here?

    i felt really upset when i discovered that such a trivial functionality wasn't present in the zimbra's exporting method.
    what should i do now? i need hourly backups to accomplish my disaster recovery plan in an efficient way.

    does anybody find so absurd to perform queries based on time condition instead of only dates?

    thank you again.

    I wouldn't know about the answer to either of those questions, perhaps the people that do backups don't visit the forums.

    A disaster recovery strategy would most likely involve a complete backup or your server to preserve it's configuration in addition to the email. If you want a method of backing up individual mailboxes then I guess most people might assume you'd search the forums and/or wiki and use (or modify) one of the community provided backup methods.

    Have you also considered some form of mail archiving to preserve your mail rather than just a straight backup?
