Default Unable to send from iPhones

We just recently migrated from 7 to 8. Everything appears to be running fine except that now users are unable to send emails from their iPhones. Droids work fine. Just cannot send from an iPhone. The other odd part is that if the iPhone is connected WiFi anywhere where the ISP is the same as us then the email will go through, but not if it is a different ISP.

    Ports 587, 995, 25, 110, 443 are all open.

Again, Droids work fine from anywhere. iPhones don't work unless they are WiFi on the same ISP.

Thanks in advance for any assistance. This is REALLY frustrating.

If you have the iPhone setup using the Exchange account then the only port required for this is 443.

I am a little confused as you mention wifi and isp, are you talking about wifi on the same network as the Zimbra box? Sounds more like a firewall issue if so.

Have you tried creating a new Exchange account on an iPhone?

Unfortunately we do not have the active sync feature. We are running Standard, not Pro. The odd part is that it was working prior to the upgrade but not after. I've re-looked and added 443 to the firewall and will see if we can get a test run. Why would the iPhone's iMAP configuration use 443 instead of 587 even when it is told to use 587? I will post back when I get a result.

I was not aware you were using imap as you did not mention this so presumed you were using the network edition

I am having this same issue. Did you ever find a solution?

Even the part of, if I am in the same building and on the same network as the Mail server it works fine. But when I am on some other WIFI mail does not send.
